Title: ‘Humpback whale’
Format: 400 x 500 cm
Material: four plates, for Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay, digital collage of photos and drawings

Humpbacks teach each other to catch small fish and krill. As they swim in an ever smaller circle, they blow air bubbles under the water surface (they are not fishes but mammals) and meanwhile 'sing' loudly. The fish fly in the clouds of bubbles to escape the sound and come closer together. Meal is served on a plate of air.
